WebOct 7, 2024 · I have been asked to compile a C# (Framework 4.6) library into a static library (.lib) instead of dynamic library (.dll) for a user that wants to use my lib into a C++ project. The user managed to make it work as a Dynamic Library (.dll), but requires it to be a static library (.lib) for obscur reasons. WebDec 1, 2005 · Given that parameter as a post build step, all assemblies that are part of your application are merged into one .exe file, which is stored in a subdirectory called merged beneath the debug / release directory. As it stands, this code only works properly when building a .exe type project, but the concept stands. Hope someone finds this useful!
