WebJun 18, 2015 · Posted June 16, 2015. Dobyns seems to fall into that west coast thing (my term) along with Phenix and Lamiglas. Their "Fast" is slower than most all other fast rods out there. Likewise these manufacturers also overstate their rod powers. I guess it's in following with the JDM trend to do the same thing.
